Im not carbed YET, I have a hate hate relationship with the TPI, A 750 cfm injection is to damn expensive, From the research i have done the only advantage to a EFI is gas milage and performance on a road course. I just cant justify a extra 3500 for that

I would be giving up about 2-6mpg

to me its just not worth it,

WHY a LS over the vortec?

Sell or part. Combine those dollars with your engine money and buy a newer C4 in better shape or possibly even an early C5.

why would i want to do that? I have a unique c4 that I built, MY way, BY ME, the way i wanted. for 5 grand i can have a tire shredder,


not to mention a c5 for 8 grand is just a money pit that was some ones elses problem.

So you could actually drive instead of constantly repairing?

My motor runs fine, It has about 120k it uses 1.5 qts of oil between changes, runs about 40lbs psi no smoke no knocks,

still does 0-60 in 6 sec runs 14 in a 1/4

What is that saying if it aint broke, yank the engine and add power
