Gary at Austin Corvette says he has seen this before on these models and is probably the fork bending. If this is the case, are replacements available? Since I have an aftermarket pressure plate, probably with higher spring tension, would it make sense to have the fork reinforced?
Suggestions?

Do they already have it apart? Is it confirmed that the clutch fork is bent? Or is it just speculation at this point? I am interested to see what it is going on.

Still speculative. They are tearing it apart on April 8th.

Looks like TorchTarga94 gets the prize. The pivot stud was loose and the adjustment was compromised causing some metal to metal contact. The clutch fork was not bent.

Yes and it was an expensive repair. Corvette Austin would not warranty it.
