Wouldn't it be great to find a reliable source for the opti... Petris is pricey but if they have longevity, it's still a value. Just imagine the time you'd save NOT replacing a cheep failed one. 1 x and you lose that extra $250 u think u saved.

Do you guys convert the non vented units to a vented unit? I have a 93 w/ non vent. Seems the vent to pull off possible moisture is a winner (95/6 c4).

I just ordered a vented distributor cap and vent kit from Petris for my 93 40th.
Car only has 34K on the odometer and thought I'd be proactive b4 problems set in .
Depending on how old your water pump is , make up a drain line for it as well , in case the water pump spits , it won't short out the optispark
