Default 1989 Winter Projects - Input requested

I have a lot of interior work being done to my car this winter.
1) Converting head unit over to a double din 8" Alpine
2) Trashing the wood grain covers and going with plexiglass that is back painted with the body color
3) Changing interior carpet from saddle to black
4) Adding dynamat to all surfaces inside.
5) Changing misc parts (seatbelts, console, etc) from saddle to black
6) Changing seat covers from saddle to black/blue two tone.
7) Replacing Shifter boot/wrap/steering wheel with two tone black/blue leather
8) Adding amps and subs in rear in custom box
9) Replacing all speakers

Most of the parts are purchased and the car is currently in the shop. I was initially going to have CorvetteAmerica do the seats but they are short on bladder repair parts so I may go with a local shop since the lumbars aren't working in either seat (sport seats).

I'm also interested in covering the door panels with the same black/blue leather. I believe I'd seen another member do this, but couldn't find the thread in a search.

Finally, I'm having trouble locating the plastic piece that sits on the side of the center console next to the seatbelt buckle. Anyone know what this is called?

Any other suggestions about all these changes welcome! Thanks

No replies?!?

I've modified the list a bit. It's a Dark Blue Metallic 89 that I was initially looking to change the leather interior from saddle to dark blue. However, I changed my mind and am keeping the saddle interior but changing the beige carpet to black and adding two tone saddle/black seats.

Also going to keep the stock dash rather than add plexiglass that is backpainted. I may do something like a skin wrap in the future but will go with a stock dash.

The radio panel needed major modification in order to accommodate the huge radio. Switches and idiot panel are shifted up about an inch and a half and some custom vents to be used in the remaining space.

Seatbelts, console, etc remain but I added some leather items from www.redlinegoods.com I bought their shift boot/steering wheel/horn hub,arm rest, and emergency brake cover. All in the black/saddle leather

Also added on a Passport 9500cx that will be molded into the dash, which should look awesome. Car is in pieces right now but will have pics up once complete (around mid February).
