Trans dapted .. or not ..
Hey Guys .. newbie questions hear so beware ...
Gettin ready to drop This 1996 LT1 engine into My 1984 car
Automatic 700 and using a 95 Blazer S-10 trans Converter
questio is :
my 84 trans has a step up ( 500 rpm ) approx which is tied into the ecm ..
maybe Im wrong about it .. let me know
It works only when you slightly press down on the gas pedal
it is supposed to save gas and down shifting the automatic trans
..
this new LT1 ecm and harness tie into the trans to control several things .. OMG
the signals sent to the ecm mean nothing to me .. however ..it's supposed to affect how the ECM works and makes tuning decisions ..
am I correct here ?
last questio .. what should I do with that in mind ..
