Changing out door panels and when I was finished with the driver side I noticed the door lock doesn't work now. I took the panel back off and made sure it was plugged in and it is. Still doesn't work. Since the passenger side was still off I took the switch off it and plugged it into the passenger to make sure it worked. Works perfectly.
Plugged it into the driver side to see if it worked but still nothing.
Anyone know what to look for? Thanks
Sorry. I found one of Agent 86's great pdf's and realized the ground runs through the passenger switch. Driver doesn't work when passenger switch isn't plugged in.
I just wasted an hour. Thanks

Thanks for posting this. I always appreciate it when folks list the solution they found. It really helps when someone finds this thread via a search.

You are welcome. I just finished up and I have to say Corvette America's door panels look fantastic. Only pain was cutting out circles for the speakers.
Next replacement is the steering wheel. Anyone have advice on who to get a good repro from?
This forum is great. Last month's project was to change out the sticky thermostat that stayed open. Hard to get heat when the temp never gets over 135 when you are going down the road. Once the bolt popped I looked here first to realize the job that was in front of me. Instead of wasting time trying to pull the broken bolt I went right into pulling manifold mode and it runs great now. Thanks everyone.
