Default 91 over heating and running rough

10 days ago I had my engine resealed by my repair shop. I noticed today the engine started running up close to 260 degrees when I was at idle. When I got the car home I let it cool then untightended the the coolant valve. Hot coolant shot up, guess I did not wait long enough. I checked the reservoir and it was almost empty so I added some coolant. When I started the engine it was hard to start and missing. I thought maybe I got something wet that was creating the problem but I'm not sure. The car is a low mileage car with 22,000 miles. Any thoughts??

Everything is ok. Engine got wet, dried. Runs fine. Fluids are ok. False alarm.
