abs problems

Default abs problems

hello all, i have a 88 vette with 383 stroker and tpis set up.
had my ecm done by tpis inc. car starts great and runs great...but when i do a whole shot and the back wheels start to spin, the abs kicks in and shuts down the car...abs lite goes on aswell. then i have to undo the battery..to reset the computor.

any help please...

the ecu and abs are unrelated. you can unplug your ebcm and figure out if there is any link. let me see....1988, should have a green tag and your ebcm, they were located in one of the cubby holes if i remember right on the 90-91 cars, should be in a similar location on yours

the car will still run you just won't have any abs. if the problem vanishes when you do this then you can start troubleshooting the abs system
