Default 383 temps

I have had my 383 running since March. The engine runs great. Projecting high 11's low 12's. Oil pressure 30 to 40 at idle,50 to 60 highway. Engine has roughly 600 miles. I have already changed oil at 400 miles, using 5w30 Mobile 1. Yesterday it was about88 degrees out and was caught up in traffic for a bit. I hit a peak coolant temp of 213 and oil temp crept up to 249 once I got moving again travelling at about70mph. I slowed down to 55mph and temps went down to 205 coolant and 228 oil. I have 3.54 gears with automatic. Is there something to worry about? Could it just be the engine needs to loosen up?. Oil pressure never changes from temp. Only first start up..then its like 70psi...any thoughts appreciated. Oh I also have long tubes...didn't know if there are heat transfer issues from headers...there is plenty of clearance from the filter though..also 94 LT1 is the engine...

Coolant temps look normal. The fans can be tuned to come on earlier. The oil temperature will hopefully go down soon. A new motor has more friction. Rings are bedding into the cylinder walls.

Run that thing up past 6000 hard a half dozen times or so it will loosen up.

So many baby a new motor its not needed now days.
Suggested long break in periods are for builders that have no faith in their work.

Bed the rings in first drive or so put 50 mi on and drop the hammer.

If something was going to break it would do it wether you babied it or not.

This.

Temps sound normal. The cooling system is dealing with more heat and sitting still its going to struggle. Get the fans to turn on sooner it works well with an electric water pump. WHo did the tune?

I honestly think these cars don't have enough engine bay airflow to run any cooler
