Default question ?

I think one is a back flow valve and ones a filter coming off the vacuum line from the opti. Are these needed or can a hose be ran to the intake with out those blue&white filters? And if not where can I get them dealer??

I believe you are correct as to what they are. As far as running without them..???...lets see.....I think the air flow is from the fresh air hose before the MAS through the opti and then to the intake manifold; so if the one way valve was removed.....then there would not be a pressure difference between the top of the intake manifold and the fresh air hose....well as much as that small hose could try to equalize the vacuum....I think it would be best to have them in place.

Did you try Corvette Central or Wilcox?....perhaps Zips?
