Default blend door components

Hello all,
my INTENSIVE '89 resto continues. The freshened L98 is ready to assemble. The wiring harness is attached to plywood for refurbishment, and readying to install a poly bush kit.

Stopping here to say hello i wonder,...had noticed the brittle plastic nut and the pivot bush on the blend door connecting rod disintegrated at removal.

Is there a source for these? I would think they'd fall under some universal automotive fasteners type of company. Can anyone cite a source?

These 2 GM #'s should fix you up 20007898 is on the link to valve door and 1224062 is the one that is used on the threaded end of the rod. I believe both are NLA but there are substitutes that do work.

The 20007898 @ Corvette Central is a 454010 I believe. It's also used in many door lock applications with GM so there's many after-market sources that should be able to cross reference that.

The 1224062 is more difficult to come by but there are similar later model fasteners that will work. I had a part number I had used previously but can't put my hands on it right now! Later? Maybe.

Here's an older post of mine that tells you where you can "cannibalize" the 1224062 if you need to and there's a link to an image.
