4+3 programming questions
I have a $6e I'm currently running. It was for an automatic, and I have the 4+3 with the proverbial cheap Radio Shack paddle switch grounding the relay for fully manual OD. My questions are:
1. I've set the 'manual' switch bit. Are there other parameters I ought to be changing on a bin originally for an automatic?
2. Despite the rewiring for manual OD, I assume the ecm still thinks it's setting OD whenever conditions warrant it. Does the ecm alter fuel/timing when it thinks it's in OD? If so can it be prevented without disassembling/hacking/reassembling the code itself, and if not, can anyone give advice on where/how to make changes?
