Default ZF Clutch Help

I was wondering how did you guys remove the Throw out fork. I can't get it out so the bell housing won't come off. I was wondering did you guys have to remove the Alen that holds the throw out ball to the bell housing?
car is a 92 LT1.

Yes I removed the stud and then the fork was loose inside the bell housing. The small allen you see on the outside is a cover, once removed you will see a large alen to remove the actual stud. I think it was 18 mm.

Yes I saw that I didn't have the size alen you sure it's an 18 mm I was thinking somewhere like 12-14mm If there is anyway you can tell me for sure it would help I have to go find one today. my car is at a buddys house 20 minutes from me. where I'm doing the work.

I just found the info it's a 12mm alen thanks to the ZF51 performance site
