Default Interior lights problem

At night my interior lights won't turn off and they flash while I'm driving. I thought it might be the door switch but someone told me it might be the light module inside the dash

What year is your car? It sounds to me like it could be a switch as well.

Make sure the key holes on both doors are straight up and down. I know it sounds crazy, but mine were staying on all the time and that was the problem. If they come on while driving, it is a switch. You can shim it out, so they go off.

Make sure you don't have the light switch dimmer set to ON. This can happen very easily.

That was the first thing I checked I purposely turn it on now so I don't have a light show while I'm driving at night I think I'm just going to change the door switch then take it from there

When you do there is a trick to replacing it without pulling the door panel.
