Searched to no avail. Anybody ever drilled a hole in the runner base plate on a non-CSI runner? Got a chance to pick up a set of non-CSI large tube runners, and I have the CSI.

most are trying to get away from the cold start inj.
the csi can be programmed out of the chip so that might be an easier rout to go rather then trying to modify to keep it, but im sure that would be possible too, just more work.
You still need the small "5th runner" on the passenger side that goes from the intake manifold up to the plenum. That's how the cold start injector fuel gets up into the plenum. Also the plenum has to have the corresponding passage (it's on the bottom).
Hi Roger, why do you want that thing there?
There is a small rail with a small oring that goes to the main rail.
i ruined the small oring many times and got a leak , wow i hated that thing.
i capped everything (there is a cold start injector tpi delete kit on ebay)
and im very happy , i don't need that 5th beatle.
Please stay away!
