Default new fuel pump problem

HI

I notes my gas tank have some sediment. and the inside tank filter is very dirty

so I decided to change the fuel pump and get new filters. the one out side and the one on the fuel pump

I get my self a new pump. the problem is. the new pump have no marking for positive conection and necative conection

how can I find out wich is wich

here are some pics of the old full pump and the new. because I know we all like pics.

notes I dont have fuel level float. the old owner did this. very bad. also I have to hold the fuel pump it self with a clamp.

the best think here is to get a all new fuel sender unit. but this will have to do for sometime. into I get the money.

I was thinking on getting universal fuel level float.

I got a really nice stainless steel fuel level sender from Mid America Motorworks. They are showing it for $129.99, which is much less than I paid a few years ago. I don't have a direct link, but click on the part number to see a picture (647-047):
