1985 Corvette Speedometer Calibrator?
Hi guys, I do all my own work myself, but I've run into a little bump.
I changed my rear end from 3.07 to 3.75, and I need to change the drive and driven gears. Problem is, apparently, as I'm told, the O/D unit has to come out

I took a manual transmission class, but missed out on the automatic, if it didn't have an O/D unit I'd have no problem ripping out the trans/half trans.
The people that I ordered drive and driven gears from told me that I had the wrong ones and gave me one for a TH400. I had originally ordered for a 700R4 (I'm told both auto and manual use the same ones on this car).
They're going back anyway, so I figured I'd may as well look into something different. A few weeks back when I was looking for drive and driven gears, I stumbled across the Speedometer Calibrator, the electric one. I think this will probably be my best bet, also considering the fact that those drive and driven gears aren't made for 3.75 but 3.73 I believe.
The only problem is, I don't have a lot of money, in fact I have 20 bucks to last me the end of the week, which is going in my gas tank tomorrow morning. I'm going to have to borrow a few bucks to get this car up and running next week

So I found this one on Ecklers.

Now is there any other company that sells it for a little cheaper?
I still owe a few people money from borrowing last time, and I need to buy my father a birthday present before the 29th

Thanks in advance!
I believe the Ecklers box is an Abbott DRA and that is sold by many. You might shop that around a little. Dakota Digital does one also.
You might post a WTB for either an Abbott or a Dakota Digital. Years ago I recommended a couple others and they might be harder to get a hold of.
I might poke around a little and I'll post back if I see a good buy for one. Of the two I mentioned I'd probably suggest the Abbott but I might also go for the least expensive.
Here's a link to the Abbott and they'll refer to it as an ERA and don't let the "tach reference" confuse you. The box can be used to calibrate that also in most applications.

Here's the Dakota DRA.

I wished these were available years ago when I swapped gears on my 4+3. A lot of disassembly to get to those speedo gears.
