Default Cam swap question

Currently, I am running a Comp Cam 08-450-8

It's 230/230 @ 0.050" , 0.598/0.598 lift with 1.6 Comp Cam Pro Mags roller rockers, 110 LSA

If I decided to go to Lunati 60123

It's 243/251 @ 0.050" , 0.598/0.603 lift with 1.6 RR, 110 LSA

How much hp gain/tq loss would I see and how much will it shift RPM range?

Current setup

383 @ 10:1, forged rods, crank, pistons
AFR 195 Eliminators, 2.055/1.60
230/230 @ 0.050", 0.598"/0.598", 1.6 RR, 110 LSA
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap
Pro Systems Racing custom carb, based off Holley HP 950 (838 cfm)
Hooker Headers 2149
Full 3" mandrel bent duals exhaust, x pipe, Flowmaster Super 44
ZF6 , McLeod Street Twin

Sounds like a great combo you currently have. With your heads and exhaust not sure you need more exhaust duration with the Lunati 243-251 cam. You are going to lose some low end for sure and not sure of your rear gear ratio. 383 has a lot of torque with that 230-230 comp cam. The Lunati cam has 27* of overlap @.050 vs. 10* with your comp 230 which is a ton!! If you are not worried about losing some sreetability then go for it. You could retard your 230 cam for increased rpm use. Comp used to have a 286-286 cam with 236-236 @ .050 110 lsa which would be a step up from your current cam. In a 350 this cam will have about 10" of vac @ 800 so your 383 should have a little more if you have 10.5 c.r. or more.

My rear gear is 3.33 and running 10:1 compression.

What would running more compression yield me? Not planning on upping that, this is more of an idea for maybe the winter.

I chose my current cam because I was previously running a Super ram / 58 mm tb combo.

Already got boatloads of torque, wondering about sacrificing some tq for some hps now that I am running carb instead of Super ram.

Cylinder pressure with long duration cams and engines with low compression (as low as 10-1 in some cases) can too low for good performance. The valves are open too much. The higher mechanical C.R. will keep that from happenning. You could retard present cam usually 4-8 degrees and reduce torque and increase top end. Comp cams tech could help with that...it would be quicker than changing cams. It really depends on what your doing with car ...street/strip or autoX/road race.
