Clutch option
I prefer to use SPEC clutches and flywheels...and if I had to replace your flywheel...I would get the heavier option from SPEC.
Just my opinion. And the main reason I use them that in several performance engines that I had built...I went through numerous clutch manufacturers until I installed a SPEC and my engine balancer guy loved it due to their precision of getting the assembly balanced...and the "others" were built to "Detroit" specs...which is a joke. 50 grams out.

It's a SERIOUS clutch meant for serious horse power. They do have a single disk unit that is also a push style conversion and is intended for less HP.
I personally like the push style conversion because of the parts problems with getting replacement TB forks and ball studs for the C4 Corvette.... AND I know Ram makes a good clutch. I used one of their clutches a few yrs ago in a customers 03 Terminator Mustang with good results.
That said I personally run a SPEC in my car. I mostly try to use SPEC in my customers cars as well and have had very good luck with SPEC. My personaly car makes over 480RWHP normally aspriated. I run a SPEC Stage 3 with a Fidanza Alum FW.... had it in the car since 2006. Yes it's grabby when hot, yes it's noisy at idle. But for the most part, considering the power the car makes the clutch is very driveable and well suited to the car and it's intended purpose.
What you need really depends on how much power you have, what kind of driving charateristics your willing to live with and how much noise your willing to live with. There are plenty of good options for clutches in the C4 Corvette.

took it out right away and installed a Stage 2 SPEC clutch (always ran a Fidanza ALUM. FW); much better; a little chatter mainly in reverse on inclines when hot, but overall a nice system......
Ditto on the puck stuff . Sure Im well over the 500 mark and a simple dual friction type holds it well with stock manners. Nothing is worse than a chattering clutch

About $460 for the Hyd TB, Wilwood master cyl, pedel assy and lines.
No clue what FW and pressure plate they want you to use.

these got this engagement issue where its too fine a line between being right, overextending the slave or dragging the slave no room for error. This last round cost me a bundle. Plus the pull type clutches are rediculous $.
If I had the money Id convert it to push and put the old mechanical linkage back on it
