Default Single Plane Intake Conversion

Can anyone confirm if either of these 2 setups will fit under a stock c4 hood: Accel 74140 Pro Ram intake with the Nitrous Outlet LT1 Elbow # 03-20000 or the Edelbrock Victor EFI 29785 intake with the Nitrous Outlet LT1 elbow # 03-20000

..... I run an Accel Pro-ram with a modified TPI plenum instead of an elbow and it fits ... barely ... both the Victor Jr and the Pro-Ram are fairly tall manifolds ... the Victor , however , also has a taller water crossover/thermostat housing pad that will get in the way of the IAC housing on a typical 2V throttle body ... The TPI plenum set-up that I use is just under 4" tall ... keep that in mind when you judge elbows ... My earlier experiment with an Edelbrock Torker II and TPI plenum is currently in the For Sale section ... check out the pics ... if you do a search here in tech for single plane some others should show up including mine with the Accel manifold ........... In looking at elbows keep an eye on the TB angle ... it should angle down a little toward the front of the car (the hood slopes down) ... but not too much or you'll be breathing through the radiator ...........

We have having a similar discussion in the FI section (c4's). Might be useful.

The Nitrous Outlet 03-20000 TB adapter/Elbow is pretty close to what I have on my 92. My elbow was custom made but it appears very similar in size to what you want to use.

I also run a converted 2925 Super Victor intake manifold which is quite a bit aller than the 29785 Victor EFI intake.

My stuff fits under the stock hood no problems.

..... That Edelbrock and elbow setup works well for your LTx app since the thermostat housing is down below on the water pump and is NOT an issue , but on L98s its kinda needed ... remotes will work but require some plumbing ingenuity ... I see that the OP has an LTx .............

I have been looking into building a single plane intake to get rid of the tpi, I think these edelbrock elbows might be the ticket, they come in different heights and lengths so could be selected (maybe with the correct size adaptor plate) to fit under the c4 hood and miss the thermo housing ?
