Are those compression couplings on the fuel lines down by the filter?

No compression fittings on the fuel lines. There were two compression fittings on the trans cooler lines though, but those were replaced with double flare fittings when I had the engine out.

Ah, in one of your pictures it appeared the old fuel lines were running a long the passenger side frame and I noticed the brass coupling in there, just wanted to make sure they were not compression - awesome build and very clean looking car.

What are you running for initial timing at idle? Big cams usually like more advance at idle, that might help bring up your vacuum at idle too.

I've found it somewhat difficult to set initial timing at an exact number, as in neutral it will only idle at 1100 rpm, any lower and it tries to die, but in gear it will idle at 600 to 700 rpm. So Im going to have someone in the car holding the brakes while I set the idle with the car in gear. But I do have it running more advanced over the stock setting, just don't know exactly how advanced. Thinking I need to play with my primary jets and choke settings to get it to idle better as well. Choke for sure will get it to idle better. Primary jets need to change because im running way rich crusing at low rpm.
