I was vacuum bleeding the brakes on my '87 today. All was going well, did RR, LR, RF, then I got the LF... Brake fluid will not come out of that hose no matter what I do. I even pulled the line off the caliper and pulled a vacuum on it (using a motorized vacuum pump) and nothing. Pumped the pedal, no fluid. ABS pump blocking it?
Ah, and the booster is bad too. Won't hold a vacuum. Having fun!
But if you do remove the flex hose and no fluid comes out, it's probably the ABS unit. There was a lot of clogged ABS units several years back as I remember.
I hope it's as simple as a collapsed hose, but if it's like everything on this car it will be the worst possible cause :-)
It's a one owner car with 60K on it, but it's keeping me busy and constantly attacking my wallet.
Realize this is several months old, but just wondering how you made out. I have the same issue with the RF caliper releasing very slowly. Foolishly, I threw parts at it before realizing it was the ABS pump. Have another issue with the abs after trying to remove a relay; it fried a wire in the harness. Was able to get a salvage one, but haven't installed it yet. Just wondering how your problem went....

I managed to free the solenoid that was stuck, but honestly you're better off just finding a good pump.
