'92 Auto-tranny shift cable
It did show the location of the adjustment, however it told me to use the wrong nut.
I'll attempt to explain...
In the image above, note the bolt that goes from the cable end to the lever on the side of the transmission (there is a cotter pin).
On the other side of the cotter pin, there is a bolt.
Loosen the bolt and there is room for the little square piece to slide back and forth.
For mine I needed to push the lever a little further forward in order to engage park, so some work with a file to keep everything tight and square did the trick.
My shift selector is now perfect, and I don't have to fight the lever to stay in 1st now
One complaint I had was the way it feels on the lever when I have a gear selected, the design seems to be a tad sloppy, but the actual shift selections are done in the pan by a zig zag looking bracket (no adjustment there, it's fixed for the most part).
(While rebuilding my transmission I took some time to understand how everything works, pretty fascinating

Photo attached shows my problem.
I managed to push it back in and will epoxy to make more permanent
Additionally, I noticed a connector near it not plugged in

It is the 4th gear TCC connector.
Going to plug it in and see what new opportunities come to light
