Ticking At Start Up
Anyone experience a ticking (sounds like a windup clock) at startup time. Only when it is warm does it tick. It will only last about a minute and a half. The Climate Control is OFF. If I press the button to the Climate Control to ON, than OFF again the ticking goes away. Does not appear to cause any problem, just sounds like a bomb is going to go off. Is there some sort of timer that is activated at a certain temperture that controls when the A/C is to come on??? 89, Climate Control

The fuel injectors make a ticking noice which is normal. You will probably notice it more right after startup because most likely no accessories are on and it is quiet enough to hear more noises. Plus the idle is higher until the car warms up and the injectors will tick louder. Not sure this is the problem but maybe it will help.

I think it is definately something in the dash, drivers side. It is about as loud as the turnsignal click. I do not believe it is coming from under the hood. Thanks anyway.
