I hope that someone can enlighten me on a performance issue with my car? When I stomp on the gas, my car hesitates. If I slowly give it gas, it's fine. It also runs fine on the highway.
Could this be an indication the Opti-spark is going out? Throttle position sensor? I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks fellow Corvette fans
It could be any number of things... but I would start with a tune up... Plugs, wires, etc... Have you done any of this? I would guess it is more of a fuel delivery issue, but we have no baseline to go on given the limited information you posted...

Thanks for the reply. I don't have much information on the car as I just picked it up. I'll see if I can find out from the previous owner whether it's been tuned up. Hopefully it's something as simple as that. There is no check engine light
I had the wrong size hose on my PCV connection and it leaked when the engine got hot and the rubber became flexible. I was lucky because it made a noise so it was easy to find.

Thanks for the information. This is what I'm looking for, possibilities. I'll check the hoses. If the simple things don't work, I guess i will check plugs and wires. Looks like a pain though
Think I found the problem. Previous owner added air foil and didn't get the air induction tube tight enough. As a result I had a vacuum leak. Runs hard now. Yippee for free fixes
