The HVAC system changed completely in 1990. We need a year.
You can put the HVAC system into diagnostic mode by pressing a magic combination of buttons which changed from year to year. I press REAR DEFROST and WARM to get into diagnostic mode. Convertibles don't have a REAR DEFROST button, so they use a different combination of buttons:

It would be also helpful to state exactly what the symptoms are. What is not working like the compressor or blower fans. I assume you have a automatic C68 system. What is working like vents and blower etc.
