I am pretty sure the LT4 came factory equipped with a pulley that is the same as the LT1 aftermarket performane type. Buying another would be redundant. Check this site if you get a minute. http://www.lt4.com
The stock LT4 pulley / dampener is the same diameter as the LT1. The only difference is that the dampener is tuned for 2 separate speeds to handle higher RPMs.
Getting to your question, ATI sells a 10% underdrive pulley / dampener that will work with LT1 or LT4 'vettes. Summit Racing sells them. I have it and it's a very good quality piece. Pain in the rear to install though -- make sure you have a proper harmonic damener installation tool.
March does not sell a LT4 underdrive pulley.
The stock LT4 pulley is about 6.75" diameter at the grooves.
This is underdrive diameter in most catalogs.
I am looking for something about 6.0-6.25" diameter.
Not a good idea to slow down the water pump according to my experience. I have noticed lower temperatures while cruising at 80 MPH in fifth rather than sixth gear. The water pump circulates more water. :yesnod:
