That is nuts to walk away from something like that you are one lucky man
Wouldnt pay any mind to "C4 related"....were all car guys here and think the C3s are badazz never knew you had that car;good to see a few guys going fast on here. You ever see Hippy out there these days?
Build it back up post up a thread if someone doesnt like it they dont have to read it.

I plan to rebuild it, after closer inspection I believe I can salvage the car.

The funny thing about that comment is I did look down the track but you cannot see the turnoff from the starting line. The track after the finish line drops slightly down hill just far enough that you cannot see the end or the people standing on the track.

cool car! what a bummer! ouch on the damage, glad you're ok.
if you read the story of the '72 le mans R.E.D. team and their '68 corvette, just use some wood and duct tape and away you go.....
well, that's what they did when they had a crash that damaged the front end before the race....

Good to hear you were not injured or worse. I would have had my hands around somebody's neck for allowing a group of workers on the track while cars were making passes. I sure would not say it was stupidity either, at 140 things tend to happen real quick and with no time to think what you did was normal reaction.
