Headers for '96 LT4?

It's my understanding that the emissions inspections in the Denver area don't allow long-tube headers. They check for the existence of catalytic converters in the stock location. Long tubes move them further away from the engine and will cause an immediate fail on visual inspection.

But, using those Doug's shorties would allow me to use stock-type cats. Since I'm not planning anything wild (for now...) with the Vette, I'm thinking they would do me just fine.
