Dyno tomorrow, make a guess.
I disagree very much.... most of the 11 second TPI vettes on this forum including myself, Ralph, Wheelsup & Bowtye8 have had our knock sensors disconnected for years. The knock sensors hear the harmonics of the headers and the clatter of the more agressive valvetrain and produce false knock, thus timing retardation that is detrimental to performance.
In my car, running Premium and the v1.0 chip, it was pulling 8-11 degrees out at part throttle high engine load. In that exact same condition running 100 octane Sunoco, it only pulls out 2-3 degrees. That's telling me that the majority of the knock is real and that is BAD.
Get the car dialed in then pull the sensor, don't do it BEFORE THEN, Scorp (unless you just wanna excuse to make it a 407. :D )

Perhaps I wasn't clear. My car HAS audible knock as a result of some tuning issues --youcan hear it when the Xray is saying it's pulling 5 degrees or more out. Your car (and the other 11 second cars) are tuned properly. Until a car is dialed in, removing the REAL knock, the KS shouldn't be disconnected.
