I think that makes it faster and more powerful than any stock LS1 ever made. You said it wasn't. I/we said "get it dyno'ed" so you know, b/c SOTP doesn't mean ****.

Look what happened. Did a light bulb come on?

I concur. It seems like this should have been posted as a resolution to that other (original) thread. Doesn't really address the perspection/concerns back then, does it?

Or state if a problem was found.

It's always nice to see/read resolution.

You might have left a bit of power (and torque) on the table (with the choice of that [TPIS?] cam with those heads), but it's a solid build that'll have great longevity. If you have a Dana 36 auto, it's also a choice match for longevity. GREAT distribution of power throughout the powerband too!

Did you install that cam "straight up"?

Yes I installed it straight up. And it's a 4+3 with a Dana 44.

I find it interesting how both peak hp and torque numbers are the same...

Cool , kinda similar to mine.
Now back that rwhp with some solid ET's and MPH.

I think you should race my car down the track. You seem to be good with squeezing every little thing out of the motor. Haha.

See its not as bad as you thought although youve spent a lot of time on it
perhaps due the the torque curve not being "peaky" you just think its supposed to be faster or feel that way.
should be a solid 12 sec runner with no problem.

Base ls1 yes, 2002-2004 Z06 very close in power, and they have less weight.

I think it has a few peak hp left in it. It got real fat up top. I think someone explained to me that the air/fuel ratios will vary dependent on the MAF flow at the time. On the street it was high 12:1 AFR. Different on the dyno. But in the right ball park.

I'm done poking around with it. Until I blow it up at least. Then I'll do a 395 or 396 whatever it comes out to. I think it'll last a long time though. This motor has 106k on it.
