HELLO!
COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT THE DIFFERENCES ARE IN THE CAMBER ROD BRACKETS USED ON THE C-4?
I've FOUND THAT THERE ARE:
1. AN '84 - '87 DESIGN
2. AN '88 DESIGN?
3. AN '89 & UP DESIGN
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Cant say but there are aftermarket ones that drop your strut rod lower so it is more in line with the half shafts. With the stock bracket there is about 2.5 degree change in camber throughout wheel travel, with the aftermarket one it is zero degree change.
1984 to 1987 narrow suspension
1988 to 1996 wide suspension
The bracket on the early cars places the inner pick up point for the camber arm higher and the arm runs at a bigger angle relitive to the halfshaft than the later suspension. Its also closer to the diff.
The bracket pictured is an early narrow suspension one.
