Thanks for the quick replies I learned to the best way if it doesn't cost cost a first born buy 2 maybe it'll work fine and the second won't be needed.
I'll watch for a few more opinions on this AIP or other and decide. Can't afford to have it installed till next year. $500 a crack.

Alright it's my turn to replace the opti. Is there someway to get a tracking number for it? That way I kinda know when to have everything ready for it when it arrives.

Got the tracking number!

Threads a few months dry-- but has anyone with the unvented Sac City Opti put a vented cap (like the MSD) on it? Since Petris is having so much trouble with their supplier, building a vented spline drive from this unit maybe be the best option.

Thanks

I did and it worked perfect. The MSD cap also adds an extra bolt. I still have it as I converted to pin drive for my new 383. On my new pin drive opti I also used the MSD cap and rotor. Let me know if you want my MSD cap and rotor-I will let it go cheap. It was used for less than 2000 miles.

Well I pulled the trigger on a non vented model for my 92 vert. Does anyone have any recommendations for what else to replace? Thanks for helping a NEWB!

What voltage is this coil design good for? I've seen some advertise up to 70k volts, and I know the higher the better(under normal circumstances).
