This Distributor EXCEEDS OEM specification and comes 100% complete with everything needed including a new Optispark wiring harness.

This will probably be the first thing I buy from you if I end up picking up a C4 this weekend. Even though the one that is in it still works, it will be a matter of time before it goes out on me. Always nice to have a spare. These seem to be the best!

Which one would I need for a 94 C4?? You have 2 listed. Vented and non.

Hi EVLGTO,
A 94 will probably have a non vented but you really need to check because some of the late 94's had vented. We can send which ever you need right out when your ready.

Thanks

You can't bolt a vented on without making some changes to the engine but there is a mod. Google changing a gen 1 opti to a gen 2.

I am so glad I saw your add. I have been looking at opti's all day after finding that mine is more than likely going bad. I was very discouraged with all the differences in prices from $500+ to $85. I usually I'm very frightened by low prices but with the 2 year warranty that relieves some worry. I have a 93 40th by the way. Hope this works!! Thanks.

AIP says the Opti is made offshore but the sensor is made in the US to Mitsubishi specs.

Thank you,

Christian, This is the email you sent me------"We import them from Taiwan. But production quality from them is same a Mitsubishi in Japan."

I have 200 miles on it-so far all is good!! I have added a vented MSD Cap/Rotor.

Regards,
Steve

Thanks Steven for clearing that up. I remembered the sensor was good quantity. For some reason I thought he said it was US made.

Just got my opti. It is not like the cap pictured above. Mine is all black. Also, it came out wet. I can post a pic if you want.

OUCH....depending on how wet it got....that would concern me...that is for sure. Luckily I have the socket to remove the cap and look inside it.

AS for the cap./...YES...I have seen them be black/dark gray instead of the light tan color. That is not big deal breaker for me.
