1995 Tach quit working
Hi guys,
I have been an avid reader of the forum for years. And, until now have always been able to find the answer to my questions with a search. But not this one.
I have a 1995 base coupe, 6spd, completely stock. Today, the tach simply quit. It doesn't move when the key is turned on and does nothing as the engine revs. It just sits bottomed out, below zero. All the other gauges seem to be working normally.
I'm wondering if this means the tach is toast or if I should look elsewhere. I am the original owner and the car still has the original cluster. I've been postponing replacing the cluster due to fading lcds, so if this is the time, that's fine. I just don't want to ignore other problems if they exist.
