Hey guys, i installed a set of Hedman LT's on my carb'd 85 with a ZF6 swap a week ago, It was incredibly easy, passenger side went from underneath and driver side from up top... I've read some threads saying NOT to use these and buy the more expensive brands, I have zero complaints on these and recommend them to anyone looking to install longtubes
went with the LT's, a x-pipe, no cats, and currently running stock 94 mufflers, not super loud but rumbles pretty nice!
just finishing my hooker long tubes myself.. cats gone.. y pipe with crossover and turbo mufflers.. just about ready for first start up..

Did you need to change the starter ? I'm working on installing Headmans on my 85.
I went with a mini starter.. it went in easy...Also used 12 point locking header bolts that I anti seized real good and dead soft aluminum header gaskets.

I installed my mini starter last night. I'm still trying to figure out if it's shimmed correctly. I put it in with no spacers and I couldn't get it out to mesh with the flex plate so I loosened it and put in both supplied spacers and now it comes all the way out but it still seems sticky .
