Electrical Problems
For now I'll just have to unplug the battery but I'd like to get it fixed ASAP, as I'm surrounded by inbred *******s. It's also worth noting the passenger side door lock sticks, I have to hit the switch several times to get it to engage. Whoever had it before tore up the interior trying to install speakers. I don't even want to know what they planed on doing in the doors, but they manged to **** it up pretty good. I have a feeling they caused the alarm problem to. Any help is appreciated guys.
The switches are located on the back of each door. Some people say they can be adjusted by carefully pulling the center portion of the plunger out. When you shut the door it will self adjust.
As for the interior lights staying on, insert the door key in the key cylinder and make sure when you remove the key the lock cylinder is vertical when you pull the key out.
The factory alarm only monitors the two door switches on the back side of the door and the hatch switch.
When the alarm goes off, if all the interior lights are on one of the door switches caused the alarm to trigger. If only the cargo lights are on the rear hatch switch cause the alarm to trigger.
