IAT Quite High?
My IAT (intake air temp) is located in an elbow after the filter but before the blower. Noticed while tuning this past Saturday that the temp was in the 260° range (coolant at 180+). Drove the car and it pretty readily dropped back to the 145° range. Seems that while idling, the inlet picks up a great deal of heat from the headers. Anyone else noticed very high IATs?
Also seemed that as the IAT rose, the IAC (idle air controller) counts went very low. Idle tends to hunt more when the counts drop. I have always targeted 25-35 counts at WPI (warm park idle).
Thoughts?

Aaron have you tried to change your fuel mixture in the air temperature correction table. while at idle I always run both fans this keeps good air flow over engine unless hood is up :seeya
