Guys,
I might be looking for a replacement ECM for my 87 vette.
A quick search shows they can range in price from $400+ to under $200
My question?
Are all replacement ECM's created equal?
Happy to pay for better quality, just don't want to be ripped off.

Think I paid less than $100 at local auto parts for the ecm for my trans am TPI when I converted it from the one year 85 system. I'm also pretty sure the ecm is the same in a lot of vehicles(I forget the number, 164?).
