Borla Mufflers
Add says 5000 mi on them.
Would this be a worth while buy?
I would love to buy new but I am on a pretty tight budget as of now.

They are stainless and should not rust. I have never heard of Borla mufflers failing, so they are probably in good condition.
They came in fitments for a couple different versions. I think the pipe size and angle/location are different between the LT1 and L98 cars. There may be some variation in the L98's too, but I am not sure. A muffler shop may be able to make anything fit if they are creative enough.
See if the owner can give you the part numbers if he bought them new. Then you could track down the fitment.
Sound is subjective. If you can find the part number, you may be able to find some sound clips and/or Borla's description. I have a Borla catback on my '95 and the mufflers look like those pictured. Mine are very quiet. I would like a little more rumble at idle and louder with the gas pedal.
Tip appearance is subjective too. Take a look at them and see if you like them. On mine it is a polished rectangular "can". To me they don't look that good compared to something like the Corsa, newer Borla S-type, Magnaflow, or many of the C5 tips.
If they are what you want and they are for the right car, then the price is OK.
Good luck.
