Mini Ram vs. Holley Stealth Ram
Does anybody know anything about the new stealth ram and how well it performs? Does it atually stack up against the mini ram?

It performs comparably to the MR/SR's, but youll need a new hood because it wont fit under the stocker.

I wonder if you could hack some height off that thing? Remember the Corvette Fever issue where they but the aluminum 454 in an 86 with the Accel FI unit that they hacked down to fit under the hood.

Ya know....I kinda wish they made this stealth ram just a little bit shorter...then all or problems would be solved!!

Or,if GM had made the center rise on the hood just a little taller,these tunnel ram intakes may just have fit better.
Seriously,It may be possible to trim it down some,but not sure without knowing it in and out.From what Ive read in the past,for cars that had certain EFI mods done,the tall ram was cut somewhere,shaved down then rewelded to fit under stock hoods.
I think it was Grumpy here that had some info on the stealth ram and maybe he can see if theres an area it can be cut,trimmed,then rewelded.I think he said the Stealth ram was an inch too tall for the stock hood.
