I'm looking at some new rims. I have an 88 that come with 17x9.5 from the factor the new ones are from a 93. The front are 17x9.5 and the rear are 17x11. Will these fit my 88. Found a lot of info on here and the web but most falls short for the 88 model. It's a base model 88 not a vert

If the offset on the 11" is 50mm you should be OK. Potential muffler interference I believe is possible and likely maybe the quarter liners.
If the offset dimension is a smaller number they will stick out more than you'd like I'm sure. A number greater will certainly create greater issues with suspension components and chassis.
The '88 to '96 Corvette wheel fitment is the same (except for the ZR1 and GS). The suspension was redesigned for the '88 model. The earlier ('84 - '87) are different.
If they fit the non ZR1 '93 ok, they should fit yours ok. You could ask if they used a spacer or anything on the '93 and duplicate their setup.
LIke WVZR-1 said the 11" may be close for fitment depending on offset of the wheels.
