Default Throttle Body Bypass

Are there any adverse effects from doing the throttle body bypass but not covering the inlet/outlet on the throttle body that are no longer being used?

I've searched and cannot find a definitive answer.

Just be sure to dry out the passages with some compressed air so you don't get corrosion.

No benefit from TB by-pass, unless you wish to
remove two hoses from engine bay.

I'm aware of those who have posted 10HP increase with TB by-pass, air foil installation, and cut air box.

I did it mostly to clean up the engine bay, and one of the hoses was in tough shape and probably ready to leak.

Most owners do this elimination for looks. Take your throttle body off. Cut the hose ports flush. On the coolant housing. Instant appearance results. But not so much on the vette.
Traditional hoods. That is your 1st visualization. Also, there is no need to run average 200 - 220 Deg coolant to your throttle body. Even with the average winter temps.
