It is a mount for some of the engine wiring near the pan. Look for the wiring by the pan and see if there is a plastic push connector that could fit through the hole.
I believe Cliff mentioned that last week and if it's from the left side rail then there's likely a rose-bud that secures the transmission wiring to that bracket. Not a connector but a retainer for the conduit.
If it's on the right side rail near the starter then it's likely the same sort of support for the conduit that contains the knock sensor wiring in the block and the fan/temp sender in the cylinder head.
It's on the drivers side, 3rd oil pan hole from the rear, 7th oil pan hole from the front. There is no oil cooler (or any remnants)... so I'm thinking it's a wiring retainer. Thanks.
