I've searched the forum but can't seem to find an answer. 96 Corvette heat works fine at start but gradually gets cooler the longer I drive. On the drive to work this morning about 30 degrees outside I set the temperature to 75. Warm heat was coming out over the driver's feet. After about 45 minutes it starts to feel cool. I then need to bump up the temperature to about 80 and it's warm again. I've noticed that I have to keep increasing the temperature to keep the car warm the longer I drive.

Any ideas?

I've seen this question before in other threads. You are not alone for many including I have the same effect. I usually get to the 85 degree mark and all I get is lukewarm heated air. Then you got to go to 90 and the heat comes on full blast which is usually too hot.
I just think the control circuits and micro processor don’t function that well after time. Don’t know why, never chassed that problem. Not much heat need in Orlando, A/C on about 12 months a year.
