I did a brake job on my 94 about 3 months and along with that I got the rotors turned and ceramic pads. It brakes wonderfully from 70 to 0 but if I begin slowing down from any speed higher that that there is an instant juttering in the brakes. It's very similar to a warped rotor but I don't believe it is a warped rotor since it is great from 70. The juttering continues until that braking session is over. For example if I slow down in a situation where it is juttering, drive for 30 more seconds than brake again it is gone. I hope I explained it relatively well.
I would check the runout on the rotors first. Make sure you tighten them down to the hub with the lugs when you measure. I am having a tough time coming up with a good reason for it to do that only with speeds over 70. I guess a rotor that is only slightly out of spec for runout might only show the problem at high speed.
I would also try rotating the tires front to back to see if the problem changes. Perhaps a slightly broken belt in a tire causes a small deformation at high speed?
Make sure the rotor is laying flat on the hub and that the wheel is laying flat on the rotor with no debris on either surface. Put the rotor on with the nuts and give it a tug in all directions to make sure it is tight. Also spin it and see if there is and wobble and if it is touching the pad uniformly as you rotate it.
I did a brake job not long ago rotors and all. One replacement rotor was normal, the other side was warped and I could even see it as it was not touching the pad uniformly. So I got another one from same store and same problem. I went thru 3 rotors on the right side before I got one that was correct. There is a lot of junk out there, got to check it all.
I had that issue on the front my 92. Turns out one of my caliper pistons were hanging up, causing my pad to get more pressure on one end than the other. The pad on that side wore unevenly. I rebuilt the calipers, re-turned the discs and solved the problem. You tube has videos on rebuilding your calipers.
