New to the forum thanks all, Just bought a 96 c4 corvette, love the car handle likes a champ and I have some repairs needed to be done , minor issues cosmetic and power steering. Looking to add more horsepower to this one, has flow master already looking for recommendation of bolt-ons. Thinking about a 150 nitrous shot also Ready to race some ford mustangs lol
Yeah i was thinking not really worth spending alot on the bolt ons. I was also building a ls1 turbo with forged internals but that's on the back burner. Wanna have a reliable daily driver thats fast .... I know cheap dosent fit in there. Nitrous will hold 200 shot?

200 shot is a lot. You'd have to change your spark plugs out every time you wanted to use it. Lol.
ok no 200 shot , what's the best bang for the buck to get this sucker moving
How fast do you want to go is limited by your wallet. Bolt ons are a good step to prepare for the real stuff. So I would get say 1 3/4 headers that are overkill and probably not doing as much good as the smaller ones. Why? Because I know that I will be dumping in a bigger motor and can use that exhaust. IOW, I build it to grown into it and grow out faster. Think of buying clothes for a kid. Do you want something just a little baggy today and grow into say a year and grow out in another year or do you want to spend money getting a suit custom made for today and they are out by next year.
If you want it as a DD just drive it, If you want to race I hope its on the track or you may not be driving it long
Track only cars are expensive when you figure out how much you can use it for the money. Kinda why I compromise between a stock car and a track car and make it do more but still keep some of it's street manners and I can take it for a 500 mile trip without being too badly beat up.
Thanks for all the input I guess I'm just gonna finish building my lsx drop it in the truck for track. And add 100 shot on this one and daily drive it. Don't have the money to build this one into a badass daily. fix all the issue with it , repaint and call it a day. Just don't wanna get beat by mustangs on the freeway

People have gotten astonishing gains from a cam and headers on the LT1 motors. If it were me, I would do that plus a 100 shot.
