Default oil pressure

I have a 1984 c4 I been playing with.. put a 1986 instrument gages in the 84 plug rite in no problem.. notice the oil pressure reading is between 55/60 psi.. when it get hot really no change it drops a little 45/50 not much is that normal or bad reading on the 86 gage.. what is the normal reading... Thanks for your time

Good to see that the cluster actually did work for you.

You'll need to confirm the oil pressure to know if the dash cluster is reporting appropriate pressures. A mechanical gauge maybe for confirmation OR maybe just measuring the OPS output from the sender using a DMM. These are RESISTANCE values applied to cluster to confirm the gauge but similar results should be seen from OPS to confirm possible operation.
