91 Seat Replacement Question

91 Seat Replacement Question
My seats are getting a little ratty. First the material started breaking now a chunk of foam is broken off. So, do I get the new foam and seating now that I am doing a carpet job or are there aftermarket seats that will fit the power tracks I have and keep the E-brake?

from what I have read some of the mounted sets did not have the care and enough rings.

that means the leather is hogringed to the foam. depending on the seat you might need to install some rods. if you look at my seat post you can get the leather for $249.00 and $20.00 for the hogring tool and rings and do it yourself. many places for the seat foam around $300 sport seat foam a bit harder to find. from what I have read some of the mounted sets did not have the care and enough rings.

just click on my name then threads started by me the click on my seat post. I have not seen the wilcox seat to compare. but did work in the cushion room at G.M. for two years. mine are very good the only thing that could have been better was the material that the hogrings attach to. just start in the middle and work your way out do not put rings on the very edge. one person tried to start at the edge and ripped it.

he is in A.U. and the seats are in Texas can not see them from there.
