DYNO RESULTS!
The guy you will want to talk with is the owner, Brian Tooley. He's been feeling bad for several days, so I don't know if he'll be there early this week, try to give him a call @ 270-782-6397
He's a good guy to talk to and work with. I know he has the actual chip burner, but I don't know what all he lacks to actually do any dyno tuning. I'm sure he'll be willing to help you any way he can. They are looking at getting everything needed to dyno tune LT1 / LS1 cars. He might can already do a TPI, I'm just not sure. Of course the dyno is always available regardless of if you can tune or not.
I'd encourage you to give him a call, or go to the website http://www.totalengineairflow.com and send him an e-mail. He does good work and I'm trying to send him as much business as I can. He might not be able to do what you want, but you never know until you ask.
Thanks
Chris
TEA lists on the website $1500 for the CNC work. I know they were running a "sale" on their CNC work, I'm not sure if it's still going on. If they are still doing that deal it would cost about $600 for the CNC work. Then if you buy all the same components I have and tack on labor I'd say you can get them for around $1500-1800 but don't quote me on that, it's only a guess as I'm not sure if they are stilll "on sale"
The only way you can know for sure would be to give Tooley a call or E-mail him and let him know that you want a set of heads just like mine, and see what he says it will cost. I think you may be pleasantly suprised, Tooley is really good to work with, he might cut you a deal in an effort to get his name out there a little more.
He's real big in the Mustang world, but he's not real well known on the Chevy side, especially the LT1 side. He can do killer things for LS1's too.
I am interested in doing my own tuning, but with the 92 and it's EPROM it's not as simple as the later models. I'm looking into what all is involved so I can see about it when I get some more money. The good news is that a friend of mine has a 93 Z-28 and he's in the same situation. He's got a guy that is going to burn him a chip but we are thinking of splitting the cost on the chip burner / etc. so we can do our own work.
